Jakarta, 29/11 – In the last two years, the role of technology and digital has continued to grow rapidly, especially after the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. The role and application of digital has even become a new business model in the industrial sector, especially in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector. This trend also makes training and guidance for MSME players the right tools to increase competitiveness and can have a positive impact.

"We believe that by providing a lot of access to guidance and training for these MSMEs, entrepreneurs will be more optimal, creative and innovative in developing and running their businesses."

Aquarius Rudianto, Director of Bank Mandiri Retail Banking Network, 2022

Departing from this understanding, this year Bank Mandiri together with Yokke and DOKU held the 2022 Merah Putih UMKM Event with the theme Recover Together Through Digital Innovation which was attended by thousands of MSMEs. However, unlike the previous year, this time the event will be held in a series of events, starting from the opening ceremony, offline and online bazaars, as well as offline training and webinars.

Located on the 10th floor of the Assembly Hall, Menara Mandiri 1, the offline bazaar event was enlivened by the presence of dozens of MSME merchants, with most of the merchants assisted by BUMN BUMN, Kemenkopukm, and other agencies. Meanwhile, this bazaar takes place from 28 November - 30 November 2022.

Apart from the offline bazaar, the main uniqueness for this year's event is the existence of an online bazaar which has started from 28 November to 31 December 2022 using a microsite that carries the concept of a virtual city. Through this innovation, visitors can experience a new sensation of shopping digitally at MSME merchants by directly accessing virtualcity.yokke.co.id on website.

"Offline training and the webinar itself will be held on November 30, December 5 and December 7 2022, with various training materials such as digital branding, digital platform solutions for payments and store management. Not only that, we also provide related training aspects of legality and law in MSMEs which will be discussed in this training session by practitioners in their fields," explained Aquarius.

Meanwhile, Yokke understands that MSME empowerment requires the active role of various parties.

Main Director Yokke Niniek S. Rahardja said, the 2022 UMKM Merah Putih synergy was Yokke's real contribution together with Bank Mandiri and DOKU to play an active role in encouraging the process of digitizing MSMEs so that they could develop even more rapidly.

It is not enough just to have access to capital and business training, businesses also need to have access to a platform that makes it easier for them to manage and develop their business. YokkeBiz is here to answer the needs of entrepreneurs for a platform that can help digitize their business.

"Complete integration into various logistics service applications, bookkeeping, taxation, accounting, marketplaces to online web stores provide ease of management and business development for MSME players."

Niniek S. Rahardja, President Director of Yokke, 2022

He hopes that through the 2022 UMKM Merah Putih event it can become a forum for sustainable growth for MSME players. Especially, with various supporting aspects ranging from an omnichannel business management platform, the availability of various payment options, access to capital and training, to the existence of a special marketplace created with an attractive virtual city concept.

Agreeing with Niniek, Himelda Renuat as DOKU's Chief Marketing Officer said, "The rapid number of MSMEs that are currently implementing a go digital strategy and the government's target of digital onboarding MSMEs which are quite aggressive next year require solid synergy from all parties, including providers. payment platforms such as DOKU. We view the availability of various payment options through a single business platform as an important component for MSMEs towards efficient business growth and expansion. Together with Yokke and Bank Mandiri, DOKU is committed to supporting the diversity of payment access for customers, while ensuring the success rate of transactions that occur on online store platforms such as YokkeBiz.”
