Jakarta, 07/06 -&nbsp;PT Mitra Transaksi Indonesia (Yokke) celebrates Eid Al-Adh 1446 H holy moments by qurban its 3 cows on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in Jakarta. 1 cow was distributed to Jenderal Sudirman Mosque, to be sacrificed, and witnessed by SEVP IT Yokke, Mr. Faisal Jazuli as the representative of the company.
The other qurban cows later distributed to residents in Bogor Regency, West Java through Mandiri Aman Insani Foundation, zakat collecting institution that collect, manage, and distribute the zakat and any other social funds to publics. Jakarta, 26/03 -&nbsp;The revelation of the counterfeit money factory at Alauddin National Islamic University, Makassar, South Sulawesi, has brought a deep concern to society. Based on the report, the factory had printed 4.906 sheets of money with nominal Rp 100 K and another 972 sheets of uncut money. What brings deep concern is that the counterfeit money claimed to have been printed as good money.&nbsp;
However Bank of Indonesia (BI) has informed that the counterfeit money is a low quality product. The way to detect is able to do with the simple method, by seeing and touching. BI also claimed they already checked the sample of the money for further examination.
After the examination, the counterfeit money was not printed by using a money printing machine. The counterfeiter is known to only use printing machine standards. The printing machine that was claimed by the counterfeiter bought from China also known not yet used to print money. The machine also knew that it did not meet any standard to print money.&nbsp;
BI also verified the money does not have any safety element such as microlens, watermark, electrotype, and UV image. Therefore, the standard recognition method is easily able to detect any counterfeit money.
The methods of Rupiah recognition are able to do so by its brightness and the color looks clear, different from counterfeit money that look dull and faded. The texture of genuine money also feels rough when touched, while counterfeit money tends to be softer and thinner. Moreover, the genuine money shows specific watermark and BI logo while illuminated, something that counterfeit money does not have those visual characteristics.&nbsp;&nbsp;
To anticipate any transaction using counterfeit money, a cashless method can be the most effective way. This method can be completed without any cash money, hence we do not need to keep the money physically. The risk is also lower than transactions with cash money.&nbsp;

Besides for any urgent or emergency matters, some people prefer to use it for installment payment. But do you know that the credit payment system was found because of an accidental moment?
The credit payment model was started by John Biggins, banker of Flatbush National Ban of Brooklyn, USA, in 1946. He issued a card called Chang-It to do any credit transaction, bun only valid on closed entities and limited to merchants that already registered as customers of the bank.&nbsp;
The first usage of credit cards in general was done by Frank McNamara, founder of Diners Club. In 1949, Frank had dinner to entertain his client in a fancy restaurant. Somehow, he forgot to bring his wallet, and fortunately his wife was able to pay the bills. Ashamed moment, but inspires him to create a multifunction card that can be used for transactions.&nbsp;
The card called Diners Club was officially launched in 1950 and just in three years already had more 40.000 customers, and the usage was spreading to Canada, Mexico, and Cuba. The phenomenon encouraged American Express to make their own credit card, with PVC materials that were used until now. The massive credit literacy in 1960 also skyrocketed the customers of credit cards, and pushed the US government to regulate the credit card by 1970.
In Indonesia, the first credit card came in 1980 that was introduced by Duta Bank, in cooperation with VISA and MasterCard. The user of the credit card was only the customer of Duta Bank, and came from specific wealthy people such as businessmen, politicians, and other high-end class society. Also, the card was quite hard to get since it can only be owned by a limited group.&nbsp;
However now the ownership of credit cards in Indonesia has become easier and the usage keeps growing. History of Credit Card and Its Impact on The Payment Systems

Jakarta, 06/01 -&nbsp;PT Mitra Transaksi Indonesia (Yokke) received a certificate of appreciation from The Worker Social Security Agency (BPJS TK) for its participation in the protection of the vulnerable group. The ceremony of appreciation was handed-over by Head of Corporate and Institution Membership BPJS TK Menara Jamsostek Branch Office Endang Sulistyo Rini to Department Head of Human Resource &amp; General Affairs Yokke Retno Purbani Widya Mahati.&nbsp;
Yokke&rsquo;s participation in protecting the vulnerable group is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in 2024, officially conducted through collaboration with BPJS TK. By this program, 240 of the vulnerable group in the operational area of BPJS TK Menara Jamsostek Branch Office in Jakarta will be covered comprehensively by the social security program.&nbsp;
Distribution of the CSR by Yokke was implemented to cover the contributions for a year which included the Death Security (JKM) and Workplace Insurance (JKK). The protection is also part of a government program named The Social Movement for Care of Vulnerable Groups.
The movement was launched by the government as the social innovation to protect the vulnerable group by collaborating with corporations and individuals. By the scheme, both private and public companies will be able to distribute their CSR program by protecting the vulnerable group.
In the Yokke CSR program with BPJS TK, the vulnerable group included workers who work as taxi bike drivers, household assistants, farmers, fishermans, parking attendants, and mosque caretaker (marbot). These workers are called vulnerable groups since they work in a risky environment but financially unable to reach the social security service.
